How to Build your List fast?

When you start to do it, success in your online business is a numbers game. The more customers you have, the bigger your paycheck. Online, you start your customer base by 'list building'.

You can build a list of customers by selling a product or service and collecting their emails, or build a list of prospects by giving away a 'freebie' from your website.





Most people start with the latter because it's easy to build a list giving away something for free. Then with that list of prospects, you can show them offers to buy and get on your customer list.

No doubt email marketing is super powerful. After all, you can make money just by sending emails! But there are a few secrets to building a list of hot prospects so fast..

Here are a few list building secrets you can start using today to build a list...

  1. Use a quality Autoresponder service to collect names and email addresses. I highly recommend Aweber. An autoresponder allows you to create 'optin' forms to add to your web pages to collect names and email addresses. They will then store them and automatically follow up on your prospects for you.
  2. Create a nice squeeze page. Also known as a splash page or landing page. A short squeeze page with just enough info to entice visitors to sign up to your list. E.g. a f.ree report or f.ree newsletter subscription. I offer some ready-made Squeeze pages and rebrandable reports at my free membership site.
  3. Build your list with giveaways! Sign up to giveaways as a JV contributor and add your product. When visitors want your product, they have to sign up for it  and you build a list!
  4. Start a blog. Blogs using Wordpress are a great way to show off and share your expertise with your audience and they are great list builders too! Just make sure you have your optin forms around your blog (either in the sidebar or as a pop-up) so your readers can optin. I recommend using the Wordpress blog software. It's free to use and really easy, and Googles loves WP.
  5. Do ad swaps with other marketers! To grow your list bigger, leverage other marketers' lists. Approach other markerers in your niche who have a list and propose an email ad swap. You might have to send out more than once for their offer or do some extra work for them in return, but ad swaps work great for fast list building.
